Questions & Sample Answers
Yes, I'm currently pursuing a degree at my college, where I'm doing a Business Intelligence program. Before that, I completed my undergraduate studies in Vietnam. Coming to Canada to further my education was a big decision, but I wanted to challenge myself and get an international perspective.
I weighed up several things. First, the job market—Business Intelligence is booming in Canada, so I knew the program would open doors. Second, the quality of education in Canada is well-recognized. And honestly, I wanted the personal growth that comes with living abroad. Education abroad will open doors and help me make the most of opportunities I wouldn't have in Vietnam.
I'm open to it, but not right away. After I graduate, I want to get some real work experience first and make the most of what I'm learning. Down the line, maybe I'll pursue a master's degree or further my education with professional certifications in data science.
I think the biggest one is networking. You meet people from all over the world, and those connections can really open doors later in your career. You also get to pursue a degree in a structured way with mentorship. On top of that, you get access to resources like career services, internships, and mentorship that help you make the most of your education.
